Ingredients:
- Potatoes- 4
- Tomatoes- 2
- Butter- 2 tbsp
- Sugar- 1 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Water- 6 cups
- Cumin seeds- 1 tsp
- Onions paste- 2 tbsp
- Ginger-garlic paste- 1 tsp
- Black pepper powder- ½ tsp
- Chopped coriander- 1 tbsp
Method:
- Peel the potatoes and shift in a pressure cooker.
- Add tomatoes and 6 cup water and boil until they are tender.
- After that blend potatoes and tomatoes in a mixer grinder and strain the soup.
- Melt butter in a pan and add cumin seeds.
- Once they start splutter add onion paste and ginger-garlic paste and saute.
- When onion change color to golden brown pour soup.
- Add black pepper, sugar, salt and coriander.
- Boil the soup for 3-4 minutes.
- Potato soup is ready, serve hot.
